Upon our arrival in Bonanza, we discovered that it was rather windy so we thought that we wouldn't be able to spot many birds.

Once we reached the salt pans however, there were plenty of birds in the area, as the wind seemed to have brought them all in. Fortunately, they were all really close to the track so we roamed the area, scouting the waders.

We remained there for most of the day, as some flocks would leave, but others would soon arrive, so it was a really interesting day overall, and we managed to take quite a few photographs.
