Tarifa Area, Southern Tip of Spain

Due to some strong Easterly winds, we headed into the Tarifa area several days in a row, hoping that it would have calmed down and we would be able to spot some Raptors in their migration passage.

Fortunately, we spotted a few, such as the Short-toed Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Egyptian Vulture, Sparrowhawk and Black Kite.

Here are some photos we took:

In about a week's time we 'll be heading out birding again, after the Easter holidays are over. We'll let you know via Facebook & Twitter when the blog will next be updated.

Hope you all have an enjoyable Easter!
