Lately, we hadn't been bird watching all that much in Spain so we decided to explore the Cadiz area a little bit more and we paid a visit to the salt pans in Bonanza, and the marshes in Sancti Petri.

In Bonanza the birds were quite far away and we weren't able to take many photographs of them, as they wouldn't have been of a very good quality. We did use the opportunity however, to view them using our scope so it wasn't a complete waste of a trip!
