Casares

On our way up to Casares to visit a friend we stopped on several occasions to see what was in the area.

But since it wasn't a birdwatching trip we didn't stay for to long,but did see a few birds,raptors,

We saw Booted Eagle,Short-toed Eagle, Common Buzzard, Bee-eater,Woodchat Shrike,Finches,
Griffon Vultures,Kestrels,Hoopoes, Eagle Owl.

Castellar

We like visiting this area as it has a great variety of birds to be found and it is
a short drive away for us.

Here we have a few photos of some of the birds we have recently seen at this location.

Doñana national nature park.

Our last trip to Donana during the spring/summer season of 2015 was very rewarding as have been previous outings to this area.

We hope to return some time in September, see what birds autum /winter season will bring in for us to observe and photograph.

We might have one more post after this one, then we will take a short break for summer.
